From the Harris Center:
The health and well-being of our audiences, crew, staff and volunteers is our highest priority.

By working together, we can reduce exposure to COVID-19 and ensure the safest environment for everyone. To that end, Los Rios Community College District’s Vaccination and Masking requirements currently apply to all events and LRCCD facilities including the Harris Center for the Arts. Organizations renting the facility, must agree to vaccine verification and masking and commit to enforce these policies. The Vaccination Verification and Masking Policies apply to all audience members, staff, crew and volunteers at all performances/presentations.

Vaccination Verification Requirements:

All renting organization, staff, artists, speakers, and members of their accompanying entourage, guests, patrons, and audience must agree to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. ‘Fully vaccinated’ means the final vaccine dose is administered at least 14 days prior to arrival at Harris Center or any Los Rios Community College District venue. Children under 12 years old are not required to be vaccinated and do not need to provide proof of a test, but must wear a mask.

Approved vaccine verification documentation will be required upon arrival, along with an official photo ID for anyone 16 and older. Self-attestation will not be accepted to verify status as fully vaccinated or as a proof of negative test.

California electronic vaccination registration pass,
A vaccination card
A photo of the vaccination card on a cell phone
Medical and religious exemptions will be considered with approved documentation

Masking Policy:

Face masks are required for all individuals in shared, indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. All Artists, Speakers and members of their accompanying entourage must agree to wear masks inside buildings including backstage prior to and after appearing on stage. Masks are not required on stage during performances.

Masks must fully cover both the nose and mouth. Bandanas, gaiters and masks with external valves are not permitted. Face shields alone are not adequate protection. Signs with “how to wear a mask” will be posted inside and at the HCA entrance.
